I would like to thank the members of local 2969 for their support Capt. DeSantis’s. I dropped by his house this weekend only to find about 10 off-duty Brevard County Firefighters working on sprucing up and maintaining Mike and Debbie’s yard. I am sure these people could have been doing something else on this beautiful Florida weekend. I know from talking to the DeSantis family that Firefighters have done a outstanding job in supporting Mike and his family in his hour of need. I worked with Mike for 25 years and I can say for myself and I am sure I can speak for rest of the Professional Firefighters Pembroke Pines, Active and Retired, Local 2292, THANK YOU.
